Annual Lostwithiel Charity Beer Festival, Every March


Wide range of beers all at £2.50 per pint. Quality wines supplied by Fowey Fish & Fowey Wines and soft drinks also available.

Live six nations rugby showing Italy v Ireland at 2.30 p.m. and Wales v. England at 5.00 p.m. on a big screen in the afternoon, with the final match between France and Scotland on a smaller screen in the evening.

Live music in the evening from Plymouth-based band, Diamond Geezers.

Special additional late train stopping at Lostwithiel at 22:08 going forward to Par, St. Austell and beyond.

Lostwithiel Community Centre.

Entry £5 before 5.00 p.m. £6 thereafter.

Organised by The Rotary Club of Lostwithiel with all profits going to Rotary charities.

Silver bands, brass bands and youth bands descend on the village of Bugle in the heart of Cornwall’s clay mining area to compete for the festival’s prestigious awards.

Charlestown Regatta Week, Usually held every August


A week of events including water sports, games and entertainment, raising to benefit the residents of and visitors to the village of Charlestown, including the provision and maintenance of the children's equipment in the Regatta Playing Field, a Christmas lunch for the over-sixties, donations to local charities and good causes as well as the annual Carols evening.
