All Maps now upgraded to Google Maps v3

All Google Maps within the website have been updated to v3 and we have added our own interactive functionality to the maps. On the Directions feature which is available on every location page and every advertiser page, visitors can select to see travel directions from any part of the UK, Europe or the world. Directions can be shown in any of 39 languages, available in miles or kilometres and are printable.

As an advertiser, with or without your own website, you can now provide your visitors with a detailed travel map direct to your location. Simply open the directions map for your business, copy and paste the URL into an email or add it to your website and your visitors will have a fully detailed link to a route map which will bring them direct from their door to yours.

Each location page now has individual sub pages for its map, beaches, events, community information, books and history, allowing for more detailed information for each aspect of that location. The main page for each location now displays more visual links to featured accommodation and businesses.

Free YouTube Player integration for our advertisers

Each accommodation or business advertising with us can now have a YouTube player, with their own video or slideshow, integrated into their advertisement at no extra charge.

Online route direction maps are now available Road directions from your front door to any featured business, accommodation, town or location in Cornwall on a full screen map with printable route. Find your way easily, direct to your chosen location. Simply click on the 'directions' link on the accommodation, business or location page to bring you to the full screen map. In the blank box type your postcode, or address followed by ,UK (or the country from which you are travelling) and then press 'Search' to see a route and printable directions available in multiple languages.

New Search Tools @ into Cornwall

This easy to use search facility helps you to find information on towns and locations in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly using a combination of search options including keyword search, for example:
dog friendly beaches.

In our A to Z of locations in Cornwall, we have added a map to each page with the facility to hover over the listed locations which will automatically show the exact postion of that location on the map. You can then click on the link or the text balloon for that location to go straight to its page.

New Look @ into Cornwall

From October 2009 into Cornwall has a new layout with larger pages, new presentation of search results and information. Locations such as trails, archaeological sites, crosses, mines, churches, will now have their own individual pages with location map. An individual surf report will be shown for all the major surfing beaches around Cornwall, for example Fistral Beach. Feature pages will now show a map listing all the relevant locations within Cornwall for that feature, for example Surfing in Cornwall.
