Area Info

Chy-an-Albany Hotel offers comfortable en suite rooms, many with fabulous sea views and is an ideal base for exploring St Ives, the Land's End peninsula and West Cornwall.

St Ives has much to offer - the Tate Gallery, boutiques, galleries, a delightful harbour, cobbled streets and collection of beautiful beaches that have captivated artists and tourists for over a century.

Chy-an-Albany was converted from 3 Edwardian houses to become a hotel in the 1920s. The building retains much of the charm of the original building.

The Lighthouse Bistro, an art-themed restaurant, showcases a wide range of art from local artists. The gallery-style restaurant has fine views over St Ives Bay and offers contemporary dining using the very freshest local vegetables and produce, fish straight from the sea and Cornish made cheeses alongside exotic foods and wines from around the world.

Prints and other works of art are on display in the bar, reception and sun lounge. Commission from sales is donated to the RNLI.
