Little Harbour provides an ideal base for visiting the south east of Cornwall. The guest house stands near to Looe River and harbour on the western side of the town. It is named after the little harbour which used to extend from the main river to the outside of the building where boats used to moor alongside.
Looe is a small fishing town famous for shark angling, fishing, diving and its famous landmark, St George's or Looe Island. The sunken warship Scilla is a popular diving venue and other nautical pursuits include local trawler races and boat trips along the coast.
A pedestrian ferry departs nearby carrying visitors across the river to East Looe for a fare of 50p.
Walkers and hikers can enjoy the fine coastal walks and inland trackways to explore this south eastern corner of Cornwall.
Looe is an ideal place to visit at any time of year with something to offer the visitor in every season. Christmas sees the town adorned with lights, while New Year's Eve is a time for the streets to be packed with visitors and locals enjoying the celebrations in fancy dress.
The town has numerous pubs and eating places including a number of fine restaurants, all within easy reach of Little Harbour.
Weekly entertainment is available at many venues.
Within easy travelling distance of Looe are the ports of Polperro, Fowey and Mevagissey, all well worth a visit.
The world famous Eden Project is within easy travelling distance.
Looe is served by bus and rail links to other parts of Cornwall and Plymouth terminal for connections to other parts of the UK, Europe and beyond. A vehicle ferry is available at Plymouth for connections from France and Spain.

Many of the rooms have a view over Church Square and the cottage which was once the home of the 2 women who resided on Looe Island.

For visitors who are going out early on excursions and who would otherwise miss their breakfast, we provide a packed breakfast to take out. This is particularly popular for visiting anglers and fishermen.
