Heyday continues with its development in Cornwall, with the announcement of its next event programme, which will take place at Bodmin Gaol. The event at the gaol follows Heydays successful launch In October 2006. Heyday continues to encourage Cornish Residents to join, following its success in signing up local dignitaries which Include Lord Eddie George of St Tudy. The organisation is also continuing its campaigning Voice with regards to the MRA Challenge (Mandatory Retirement Age) in December 2006 and is now backed by TV celebrities to include Ester Ranson CBE, John Middleton of’ Emmerdale’ and Kim Woodburn of ‘How Clean is your House?’
The next Heyday event at Bodmin Gaol will take place on 9th December 2006 and has been organised to give more people access to the benefits of Heyday. The Gaol has been selected because of its historic and cultural interest and location.
Chris Carroll of Heyday said “We are delighted to be associated with Bodmin Gaol and true to our name we want people to be informed and have fun. The development of Heyday is similar to that of the gaol, in that we are investing a lot of money into the local community, bringing Cornish residents on board with regards to offering them a retirement club, and from the gaol’s point of view informing them of the development of this exciting Cornish attraction.”
