The Bolitho School is an independent day and boarding school for boys and girls aged 4 to 18, set in several acres of tranquil grounds close to the centre of Penzance.
The continuity and stability, which come from attending a school from nursery to sixth form, are to be greatly valued in the ever challenging and changing world. As a relatively small school with just over 350 pupils, we can guide and support everyone, while making appropriate demands of each pupil’s intellect and energy.
There is a Bilingual Section, unique to the UK, where pupils study 25% of the curriculum through the medium of French.
The sixth form is a very exciting place where every student studies the International Baccalaureate; it is a superb environment for sixth form study. Existing friendships continue and new ones are made.
Teaching groups are small and the standard of teaching is extremely high. Every person who walks through the door of the School – student, parent or visitor – can feel the warm, friendly, unique atmosphere.
