Porth Nanven Cottage is a luxury holiday cottage in the Cot Valley, St Just, Cornwall
Cot Valley is located in the far west of Cornwall between Cape Cornwall and Lands End, the valley stretches down to the sea, nearby is St Just with a selection of useful shops and good pubs.
The Accommodation
This delightful two bedroom cottage is a single storey accommodation, beautifully decorated and situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
There is a large open plan, triple aspect living and dining area, with painted wooden floors and white tongue and groove ceiling. There are large windows looking out over the valley and French doors leading out to one part of the garden.
At one end of the room is a comfortable sofa and armchair and a flat screen TV, in the dining area there is a good sized table and chairs. An ideal room for relaxing in after a strenuous coastal walk!
Well equipped kitchen with painted shaker style units, wooden work surfaces, painted floor boards, dishwasher, combined washer / dryer and a fridge.
Two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and the beds adorned with crisp white bed linen. There is a separate family bathroom with bath and shower over.
Children welcome.
Space to park one car at the front of the property and the ability to park a second car by arrangement if required.
To the front of the property is a gravelled area with built in BBQ and large table and chairs, there is also a small garden area to the side of the property with patio directly outside the living room and the remainder laid to lawn.
Electricity, Central heating, Sky TV and wireless broadband included.
Bed linen, towels (including beach towels) and the final laundry are included in the price.

Shops & pubs found in St Just, less than 1km away. Pets allowed.

Location
Cot Valley Cottage is situated directly on the South West Coast path making it ideal for walkers and the valley is an excellent spot for birdwatchers with many reports of rare and garden birds.
At the end of the Cot Valley is Porth Nanven beach and within easy walking distance other secluded coves.
Porth Nanven itself is an area of Geological interest with its unusual egg shaped boulders and other rocks, fossils and minerals.
For surfers and beach lovers there are many other beautiful sandy beaches to choose from. Sennen Beach and Cove is only a 4 mile walk or a five minute drive away. Sennen is rated a blue flag beach and there is over a mile of pure white sand to play on and the surf here can be dynamic.
Cot Valley is only a short walk from the town of St Just which can provide you with all your daily needs and the larger town of Penzance is only 7 miles away. Between St Just and St Ives (a 13 mile drive) is an area of beautiful rugged landscape and also the home of the historic mining area including the famous Geevor Tin Mine.
