Looe is a popular harbour town on the south east coast of Cornwall standing on the estuary of the River Looe.
The town is divided into two - East Looe and West Looe - standing either side of the arched stone bridge spanning the river.
The town has its own working fishing fleet and is well known for shark fishing. The boats pulled up along the quay can often be seen to have samples of their angling activities.
Famous for its New Year's Eve celebrations which include a huge Firework Display and everyone in the streets celebrating in fancy dress.
