The Kernow Horse Trail begins at Lands End with the route going all the way to the Devon Border.
The trail uses existing bridleways, tracks and quiet lanes. It links many existing multi-user trails including the Mineral Tramways Trails, Goss Moor and the Camel Trail.
The route of the trail passes through the beautiful Cornish countryside across a variety of terrains.
It is planned to add extra sections to the trail with more off-road riding, more links into other routes and improvement of road crossings.
Wherever possible the trail avoids busy roads, with the exception of some road crossings and the section of the trail near Land's End which uses the A30 trunk road.
The trail comprises of the following five sections:
The Tinners' Trail - Lands End to Canonstown (Near Hayle)
The Kerrier Trail - Canonstown to Blackwater
The Perran Trail - Blackwater to Goss Moor
The Bodmin Trail - Goss Moor to Cardinham Castle (Just east of Bodmin)
The Caradon Trail - Cardinham Castle to Horse Bridge (On the River Tamar)
