Ladock Woods
Owned by the Duchy of Cornwall. Size: 3.31 acres (1.34 ha)
In the 19th Century the wood consisted mostly of oak and ash which were coppiced.
During the 20th Century conifers were planted and since the 1980s broadleaf species were again introduced including cherry, chestnut, beech and lime.
In 1997, the Duchy committed to forestry principles which rely, wherever possible, on nature to achieve sustainable and diverse woodlands.
