The Perran Trail is the third part of the Kernow Horse Trail.
The Perran Trail stage begins at Blackwater just north of the A30 Redruth by-pass. The trail goes north and then east along old green lanes to the south of St Agnes. Then it crosses the A3075 Newquay Road, re-crosses the A30 and takes a byway to the village of Callestick. The trail then goes through quiet lanes to Zelah and then continues along quiet lanes to St Newlyn East.
From St Newlyn East the trail uses quiet lanes with two crossings over busy roads to reach Goss Moor just east of Indian Queens.
It is planned that in the future the trail will go through Goonhavern and then make use a disused railway line to take riders to just east of Newlyn East.
From Blackwater old green lanes are used, the current trail then goes through Zelah and St Newlyn East.
