Praze-An-Beeble, in Cornish, Pras an Bibel, is the largest village in the parish of Crowan.
Its name translates from Cornish as 'meadow on the River Beeble'. The Beeble is a tributary of the River Connor which in turn is part of the Red River.
Praze stands on a crossroads. Camborne is 2.5 miles away and Helston 7 miles.
The St Aubyn family had their main residence here at Clowance Estate.
The village has good local facilities including a shop and Post Office.
Praze holds an annual fair. See Praze Events for details.
