A lovely, rocky cove between Kynance Cove and Lizard Point

Kynance Cove is considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

Located on the Lizard Peninsula, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the view of the cove from the coast path is stunning whether you are approaching from Lizard Point or from Mullion.

This photograph was taken from Yellow Carn on the approach from Lizard Point.
The tide was high so the white sandy beach is not visible.

If you are driving to Kynance Cove, there is a large NT car park on the cliffs above the cove.

As you approach Lizard Point from Kynance Cove you can see the old lifeboat house and slipway.

The new RNLI Lifeboat Station is located on the east coast of the Lizard peninsula at Kilcobben Cove.

Walking from Caerthillian Cove to Lizard Point you encounter this view of the old lifeboat house at Polpeor Cove.

These lovely Shetland ponies graze the cliff tops on this area of the Lizard peninsula, keeping the grass short which helps the resident Choughs find insects.
