MAGA, the Cornish Language Partnership, was set up in 2005 to oversee the implementation of a Cornish Language Development Strategy.
The Partnership includes representatives from language organisations, local councils and other relevant organisations, and employs five members of staff who work with schools, businesses, local councils, community groups and individuals to promote and develop the Cornish language.
MAGA acts as a one stop shop for information and advice about the Cornish language, and provides a free translation service for short translations of less than forty words.
MAGA holds regular meetings which are held every quarter and are open to observers.
Every year, MAGA runs a conference to which guest speakers are invited to speak on relevant themes associated with the development of the Cornish language.
