Bolenowe Animal Sanctuary rescues horses and ponies and provides them with a home
Open every Sunday between 11am and 4pm you can bring the whole family to meet our resident horses and ponies.
You can also meet our small collection of other animals we keep on the farm.

We serve a range of hot drinks and refreshments. Why not stop by and enjoy a coffee and cake surrounded by the stunning Cornish countryside.
Adoption
By adopting one of our beautiful horses you receive a stunning A6 photo of your adopted horse, a detailed profile about their history and progress, and an official adoption certificate.
You can adopt one of our horses for a minimum donation of just £10.00 per animal. Take a look at the horses available on our website, complete our application form and make your donation online through Charity Choice.
Volunteering
We always welcome new members to our team at Bolenowe. Whether you want to get your hands dirty on the farm or help out with some admin, if you're interested in helping the charity in one way or another, please get in touch for a friendly chat.

Re-home a Horse
Bolenowe Animal Sanctuary has a specialist Equine Rehoming Officer who is dedicated to finding new loving homes for horses once they have successfully passed through our training programmes. If you are interested in re-homing a horse, in the first instance please get in touch for a friendly chat.

We are located on the Lizard peninsula, the most southern area of the UK mainland. When visiting us remember our site is remote and the weather can turn quickly, so always come prepared. We always recommend footwear suitable for a farm environment. On sunny days bring hats and sun cream, but remember your rain coats, just in case! Alway bring plenty of water to stay hydrated during your visit.
