Praa Sands Beach

Praa Sands is a long, sandy beach, very popular with surfers and a great family beach.

Now autumn is here the beach is a favourite for dog walkers too.

This long sandy beach has a Second World War concrete pill box at its southerly end towards Hendra. The structure is now on the beach.

There are two streams which cross the beach, one at the Praa Sands end and the other at Hendra, so your dog has plenty of opportunity for a cool drink after a run on the beach.

There are facilities providing human refreshment too.
