This monument which has stood at Trevellas Airfield formerly RAF Perranporth, for many years, remembers all those who lost their lives flying from this wartime airfield and all those who served here between 1941 and 1945.
Two plaques are placed here with one to a 4 year old boy, Barry Walker who died due to a spitfire crash at Shute Row, Trevellas on the 13th September 1943.
