Glintings is a home from home perched on the hillside with magnificent views over the village of Polperro and down to the harbour.
Polperro is an all year round destination, with lovely scenic walks that meander along the coastal path and cosy inns full of atmosphere. The narrow streets, crowded around the harbour have a host of little shops selling local curios and antiques and there are several excellent restaurants and tea rooms.
Accommodation is on two levels
Sleeps 6 in three large bedrooms, all with great views.
This spacious detached cottage with its tasteful furnishings offers a perfect retreat for a relaxing holiday in Cornwall . A lovely large, sunny living and dining room with a wood burner is a perfect place to unwind, with French doors that open out onto a lawned terrace, ideal for that early morning cup of coffee or drinks in the evening.
Lovely lounge/diner with wooden flooring, spectacular views, woodburner stove, two leather sofas and armchair, flat screen 40” TV with Freeview and DVD and dining table to seat eight.
Kitchen with shaker style units, gas hob, built-under electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave and dining table to seat six.
First floor. Master bedroom with 5ft king size bed, fitted wardrobe and dual aspect windows looking down to the harbour.
Twin bedroom with two 3ft single beds and fitted cupboard.
Bunk bedroom with 3ft bunk beds and fitted cupboard.
Large family bathroom with bath, shower over, hand basin and WC.
The garden extends up beside the house with a terraced patio that encourages al fresco dining, having prepared your meal in the spacious kitchen.
To the side of cottage is a grassed terrace with small garden table and chairs.
Steps lead up to a patio terrace, furnished with table and chairs. The garden also extends up behind the cottage to a further grassed area.
Due to the approach to the property being via a flight of steps, this cottage is not suitable for the elderly or infirm.
Parking is available for one large car at Violet Farm, about 300 yards up the hill from the cottage. Unloading is possible at bottom of steps to cottage if traffic allows.
Bed linen, towels, travel cot, high chair, electricity and central heating (oil). WiFi super fast broadband are all included.
Guests should bring their own beach towels.
Logs available to buy locally.
One dog welcome by arrangement. (£25 per week)
Polperro beach is a 10 minute walk away.
