Rinsey Head stands on its own headland with breathtaking views across Mount's Bay eastwards to the Lizard and westward towards Land's End.
A uniquely positioned house, Rinsey Head is a comfortably appointed, spacious family home perched on cliffs in its private own grounds of around 30 acres. Jutting out into the sea you feel almost that you are on your own island.
Rinsey Head was architecturally designed and built in the early twentieth century to maximise the views in every direction.
The house exudes a real sense of adventure; on a beautiful summer day relax on the patio and drink in the views whilst a variety of seabirds circle above or on a wild Cornish day snuggle up in the cosy living room and watch the waves crashing below.
There is parking outside the front door for at least 3 cars, and plenty of room along the upper part of the driveway for a number of other cars.
Patio area with stunning views. An ideal spot to soak up the atmosphere or for a barbecue in the evening.
The house is surrounded (on 3 sides) by private land, largely in its natural state, growing a mixture of wild flowers, heather, bracken and gorse. The coastline either side of the house is owned by the National Trust.
Beautiful Rinsey beach can be accessed from the house and slightly further along the coastal path (15 – 20 minute walk or less than 10 minute drive) is the spectacular mile long sandy beach at Praa Sands. The property is a haven for walkers being situated on the coastal path with fabulous walks on both sides.
Sleeps 10 people.
Wide oak staircase leads up from the hallway, there are two double bedrooms both double aspect with stunning views; one has a super king bed and modern white ensuite bathroom with bath and shower over; the second is a very spacious room with king size bed and a more traditional ensuite shower room. There is also another family bathroom and good sized single bedroom with basin.
A large bedroom with two single beds and one set of bunk beds; there is a wash hand basin and two incredible arched windows. The room evokes the spirit of Enid Blyton and would be a firm favourite with any children in the party!
