Condolden Barrow stands on Condolden Hill a short distance inland from Tintagel
The barrow is of the bowl type and is over 85 feet (26 metres) in diameter and nearly 10 feet
(3 metres) high.
It dates from the Bronze Age and is the largest barrow in the Tintagel area.
An OS trig point stands on its summit.
It is the highest point in Tintagel parish and the second highest point in Cornwall after Kit Hill, (not including the highest hill on Bodmin Moor).
Legends associated with the barrow include it being the burial place of a 6th century King of Cornwall, Cador, who was one of Arthur's knights.
Location:
Condolden is two miles (3 km) southeast of Tintagel village.
