Devichoys Wood is an ancient woodland between Truro and Falmouth.
The woodland dates from at least the 1650s and it is possibly older. It contains many sessile oaks which show evidence of coppicing over a long period of time.
Devichoys Wood provides a habitat for a variety of birdlife including the great spotted woodpacker and a wide variety of woodland plants and fungi.
A circular walk leads you around the wood and will take you around 30 minutes.
