There are rock pools to explore.
A waterfall cascades onto the beach.
The beach is overlooked by high cliffs known as 'The Vans'

Hallane Beach is dog friendly with dogs allowed all year round.
Visiting the beach involves a strenuous walk from a very small car parking area with the return walk up a steep lane.
No facilities here. The nearest are at Porthpean which is just under a mile (1.5km) away from the car parking area.

From the A390 at St Austell, follow the signs towards Porthpean but do not turn for Porthpean. Continue along the narrow lane following the signs for Trenarren 2 and a quarter mile (3.7km). You will reach a small parking area. Walk along the right hand fork on the surfaced track into the valley, then on the bridleway to Hallane Mill. The cove is accessed by steps just below the mill.
