Menagissey is a tiny hamlet in St Agnes parish between Mount Hawke and Porthtowan, a cluster of cottages and bungalows on a steep-sided valley.
The narrow twisting steep road leads to another tiny hamlet, Manor Parsley, before joining the Wheal Rose to Porthtowan road.
There are some very pleasant walks through this area, which is well served by public footpaths, and the lane itself is good for walking but watch out for traffic, particularly on the sharp bend at Menagissey.
