The Tinners' Trail is the first section of the Kernow Horse Trail which runs across the Penwith Moors from Lands End to Canonstown, near St Erth.
A scenic route, all of which is open except for a proposed new section from the A30 at Sennen via Trevear and Trevorian Common to Newshop, near Crows and Wra to bypass the A30 trunk road.
The Tinner's Trail uses the route of the historic moorland Tinner's Way linking St Just and St Ives.
Leaving Lands End the trail heads onto the moors east of St Just and goes up the moorland spine of the peninsula with panoramic views of both north and south coasts. It drops down at the east of the moors down through Nancledra to Canonstown.
West Penwith has much to offer with spectacular scenery and many ancient archaeological sites, most of which may be visited or seen from the Tinners' Trail.
Not all the route is defined as bridleway.
