Bartinney Nature Reserve is an area of heathland, acid grassland and wetland with panoramic views of Chapel Carn Brea and seawards.
The reserve covers 10 hectares / 25 acres and is located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Part of the reserve contains a prehistoric field system and is a Scheduled Ancient Monument.
Birdlife includes: bullfinch, hen harrier, hobby, merlin, peregrine, skylark, snipe, whinchat, yellowhammer,
Flora includes: chamomile, common dodder
Reptiles: adder, common lizard
Butterflies include: small heath and small pearl-bordered fritillary
Visit at any time of year.
Car parking area.
Bartinney Nature Reserve is dog friendly.
