Tolvadden was primarily a copper mine, although it did produce some tin.
Between 1857 and 1862 it produced a total output of 10,750 tons of copper and 12 tons of tin.
Nowadays, there are few remains of Tolvadden Mine except for a closed shaft and a spoil dump on the junction of the B3280 and the A394, 0.5 east of Marazion.
