Trebarwith Strand is a coastal village, tucked away between steep cliffs and with a wonderful sandy beach at low tide.
There are numerous rockpools at the base of the cliffs ideal for exploring. Crabs and small fish can be found in the pools, with mussels, periwinkles and limpets attached to the rocks.
Just off the beach is Gull Rock (also known as Otterham Rock).
There are two car parks - a large one about a 5 minute walk from the beach and a smaller one adjacent to the beach.
Facilities at Trebarwith Strand include: toilets adjacent to the beach; beach shop and cafe.
The magnificent scenery here has been featured in several films including: Malachi's Cove starring Donald Pleasance; Twelth Night; Saving Grace; and Oscar and Lucinda.
The Cornwall coast path enters Trebarwith Strand from Tintagel, to the north, down a very steep path.
Trebarwith village lies to the south of the valley.
