Vault Beach (Bow Beach) is a secluded, sand and shingle beach tucked away on the eastern side of Dodman Point on Cornwall's south coast.
Backed by the steep cliffs of the Dodman, the beach is curved and forms the shape of a crescent.
The beach is accessible but the path down to it is quite steep.
Vault beach was used as a filming location in the Richard Curtis film, About Time.

No lifeguard service
Vault beach is dog friendly with dogs allowed all year round.
No facilities. The nearest toilets are at Gorran Haven (0.5 miles).
The nearest car park is at Gorran Haven, a 20 minute walk. There is also parking at
Lamledra.
You will encounter Vault beach when walking the Cornwall coast path between East Portholland and Gorran Haven.
