MCC Vehicle Trial including the famous Blue Hills section at St Agnes. Competitors are expected to be arriving at this section from 11.55am onwards on Saturday 31st March.

Blue Hills, St Agnes First motorcycle due at 11.55am. Last car due at 16.55pm.

Crackington Haven First motorcycle due at 6.45am. Last car due at 11.45am.

The Outsid'er Line up is very exciting this year, with Tony Plant as Artist-in-Residence, probably best known for creating whole beach sand drawings, which he will create on Porthtowan and Chapel Porth over the festival weekend.
There will be an opportunity for people to join Tony in creating a sand drawing on Trevaunance Cove in St Agnes, on the Saturday afternoon. As well as create his stunning, site-specific, sand drawings Tony will also be inviting people to join his new Creative Colony Project, as virtual mapmakers.

Garden Design Expert and BBC Gardeners World presenter Joe Swift is flying in to give a talk, just in time for you to get inspired and re-design your gardens ready for the summer - 25 years of Garden Design in 45 Minutes!

Anna Maria Murphy from Kneehigh & Bagas Degol will be thrilling visitors with their Salt Road show, an evening of stories and music about the sea.

Alongside this is a Wacky Races competition, Star Gazing on the beacon, A Pop up Orchestra and concert, Cornish Language Heritage Walk, Surf Cinema, Skate Ramps, Bike tours, a Photography Scavenger Hunt competition, Kayak Adventures, the Festival Launch Beast Feast and Bonfire, plus much much more.

Perfect for all the family, this festival is all about getting out, getting stuck in and maybe trying something a little bit different.

Festival in St Agnes celebrating its folklore and the Giant Bolster. This event celebrates the folk story of Bolster and the Celtic Saint Agnes with a lantern procession, weekend of events, pageant and re-enactment of the story in St Agnes and Chapel Porth. It starts with a lantern and torch procession through the village to the top of the St Agnes Beacon and a large bonfire and barbecue.

10:00 - Building the bonfire, all welcome up the top to help us build the bonfire for lighting on Saturday evening

20:15 - The lantern Procession leaves Churchtown square up to the Beacon, bring your lanterns and walk to the top for a BBQ and relaxation by the fire.

Sunday -
9:30 - Dressing the Bolster at the sports club come and help out

9:30 - Dressing the Cliffs at Chapel porth, come along and help out

12:00 - Drummers meet it the Library car park for the street theatre

12:30-13:30 Street theatre around the village

15:45 - Drummers meet at the top car park at Chapel Porth

16:30- Pageant

17:15 - Music in the bottom car park after the pageant

New Route

Starting at the Carnival field, and proceeding along Vicarage Road to Churchtown, where it will go along Trevaunance Road to the Enys Park Sports Ground.

Trevaunance Road, with pavements either side will give a larger and safer family viewing area to see the Carnival Procession. It is also hoped that the new level route will reduce the gaps.

Prize Giving will take place at the Sports Ground.
