Helston's Coronation Lake is home to a variety of ducks, geese and many swans.

It's ideal for a short circular walk and you can take your dogs but please keep them on leads and away from the wildfowl.

Free parking is available on the Fair Ground Car Park opposite the lake.

Woodland walks, Cornwall's largest natural lake - Loe Pool, Loe Bar and beach. Great for a stroll at any time of the year. Dogs welcome.

The Royal Jordanian Falcons often display at RNAS Culdrose. They were invited in 2010 and again in 2011. Check the RNAS Culdrose page closer to July to find out if they're displaying next year.

The Royal Jordanian Falcons display is featured in this video

771 Naval Air Squadron Search and Rescue (SAR) is based at RNAS Culdrose, Helston. Every year, the squadron flies many sea and land rescues, often working with the RLNI lifeboats and HM Coastguard.

In 1975 the waterwheel was erected on the River Cober beside the path around the Coronation Lake.

The wheel was brought from Coad's Green near Launceston in North Cornwall.
