The woodland at Lerryn inspired the children's novel, The Wind in the Willows and also the TV series, Tales of the Riverbank.

There are woodlands on both sides of the Lerryn River. This woodland can be accessed by following the river bank from the car park, past the tea garden and walking downstream.
