Marconi Centre

The Marconi Centre stands on the site of the wireless station from where he sent the first transatlantic signal in December 1901

The Marconi Centre provides a fascinating insight into the history of telecommunications and into the experiments at this site which changed the world forever making possible the communications systems we enjoy today.

In partnership with the National Trust. Staffed by friendly, knowledgeable volunteers - members of the Poldhu Amateur Radio Club, whose club is based at the centre.
