Coombe Valley Woods is comprised of two woods - Lee Wood and Stowe Wood - which lie just inland from Duckpool in North Cornwall.
The woodland to the north of the stream is Lee Wood and on the south of the stream is Stowe Wood.
The woods contain a wide variety of trees including beech and oak. An invasive species, Rhododendron is conspicuous during spring months when it is in flower.
Stowe Wood used to be part of Stowe Manor.
A disused mill leat can be seen on the stream between Lee Wood and Stowe Wood.
There are a number of paths through the woods created by the Forestry Commission in 1970 which form part of nature trail through the Coombe Valley.
Parking is available.
Dogs are allowed.
