

Fistral Beach is the most famous surfing beach in the whole of the UK
Fistral is a long, wide, sandy beach. At high water it shelves creating a shore break. Fistral is the venue for many world class surfing championships and attracts a large number of surfers. Also a popular beach for families.
Facilities include large car park, toilets and cafes.
RNLI Lifeguards are on duty at Fistral beach (North) at Easter and then from the beginning of May to the end of September. At Fistral Beach (South) RNLI Lifeguards are on duty from mid May to the end of September. Fistral beach is dog friendly with dogs allowed on the beach all year round.
Fistral faces WNW and often has waves of 6-8ft. It can be surfed at all stages of the tide.
