
Gatamala Cove is a small, sandy beach on the south coast north west of Rosemullion Head near Falmouth.
The beach lies in a sheltered position facing northeast and just south of Bream Cove.
The beach has some sand with rocks and shingle.
There are no facilities here. The nearest are at Maenporth, a half mile away, where there are toilets and a cafe. Mawnan Smith has shops and a pub and is 1 mile away.
No lifeguard service and no safety equipment.
Good for swimming, especially on an incoming tide but do not swim in strong easterly winds.
Popular for snorkelling and diving.
Rock pools to explore at low water.
Gatamala Cove is dog friendly with dogs allowed all year round.
A public footpath leads down through Meudon Woods and you then take the coast path to access the beach.
