Lankidden Cove is a small sandy cove on the east coast of the Lizard peninsula
The pretty sandy beach on the side of the headland of Carrick Luz is dog friendly with dogs allowed all year round.
Please note that the last few metres of access to the beach involve using a rope so although the beach is dog friendly do not attempt to take your dogs onto the beach unless you are able to carry them.
There is no lifeguard cover.
Lankidden Cove can be accessed along the Cornwall Coast path from Kennack Sands. It is about a 1 mile walk from the car park.
Alernatively, there is a public footpath from Arrowan Common but parking is very limited.
An Iron Age Cliff Fort stands on Carrick Luz and there are many ancient archaeological sites in the area including the settlement at Poldowrian.
