

Millook Valley Woods cover a large area of woodland in a steep coastal valley
The woods cover almost 150 acres (60.7 ha). They were formerly four separate woods - Trebarfoote, Tamps and Landy, Trengayor Copse and Crannow Coombe and Lundy Woods
The woods are an ancient semi natural woodland in an area of outstanding natural beauty comprising of oak, sycamore, ash, beech, bracken, bramble, gorse, Broadleaved Helleborine and Birds Nest Orchid, interesting lichens such as Lobaria and String of Sausages lichen.
Otters frequent the streams which flow through the woodland..
Several species of bat have been observed in the wood and the meadow.
There is a rich meadow within the Trebarfoote area of the wood.
In the Trengayor part of the woods there are a number of mature beech trees marking the line of an old hedgerow.
Millook Valley Woods can be enjoyed at any time of the year.
Parking is limited so you may need to park and walk to access the woods.
The woods are dog friendly.
They are managed by the Woodland Trust.
