The Nanscowe inscribed stone is located in the Parish of St Breock.
The stone bears the inscription 'ULCAGNI FILI' on it front and 'SEVERI' on its side. As with many ancient granite stones in Cornwall, the stone is being used as a gatepost. The stone is 4 ft/1.3 m high. The inscriptions are believed to date from the 5th or 6th century AD.
