North Levant mine is today part of the Geevor Tin MIne site. It was incorporated with the original Geevor sett in 1920
The mine was known as North Levant until 1891 when it was closed.
In the 1880s up to 176 miners were employed. Ten years later there were only brief periods of activity at the mine by a small amount of workers.
Victory shaft and today's Geevor Mine buildings stand on the site of the old North Levant mine.
52 different minerals have been found at the mine.
The mine known today as North Levant mine was originally known as East Levant mine. 1n 1920, it's name
was changed after the original North Levant mine had become incorporated into Geevor Mine.
