The St Austell link to the Wheal Martyn Trail known as The 'Green Corridor' is a multi-use trail for walkers, cyclists and horse riders which links into the other Clay Trails.
Length of trail: 1.75 miles (3.5 km)
The trail is mostly level and suitable for all ages whether walking, cycling or horse-riding. The beginning or end of the trail is at Tremena Gardens, St Austell.
Starting from St Austell, the pathway starts at Tremena Gardens. Looking out over the railway viaduct you will have views of the china clay spoil hills in the distance. The path turns to run parallel with the Bodmin road, cutting through a wooded hillside.
Along the route you will see evidence of St Austell's industrial heritage - including abandoned clay driers and tall brick chimneys. The path links to the William Cookworthy Bridge.
Along the route there is an option to fork left into The China Clay Country Park or fork right to join the Wheal Martyn to Eden Trail.
