Saltash' annual May day festival with entertainment, stalls, half marathon and more throughout the day.

In 2016 the new committee took the May Fair back to the town and back to its community roots. With overwhelming positive feedback from residents, businesses, exhibitors and the wider community it will remain back in the town.

The 2016 event had an estimated footfall of around 4,500 throughout the whole day over Fore Street, Victoria Gardens and Longstone Park. The committee will hope to replicate these high footfall numbers by once again offering a full day of non-stop entertainment.

Saltash Regatta is one of the most colourful events held in Cornwall and certainly for South East Cornwall is the most popular annual Regatta.

Gig racing, hosted by Saltash based Caradon Pilot Gig Club, is run to the highest standard with rowing on the Saturday, with a Flash Boat Regatta ran by Saltash Rowing Club on the Sunday.

On the river you'll also find sailing, canoeing, swimming and even a cardboard boat race. Saltash Regatta is not just about water sports, there is so much more ashore to keep everyone in the family happy and very entertained.

Join the community in Saltash to celebrate all things Christmas!

Organised by Saltash Chamber of Commerce, community groups and town centre retailers, Fore Street will be transformed into a pedestrian haven with snow in the air and stilt walkers on the ground.

Community groups are showcasing their activities and shopkeepers are taking their shops out into the street on Fore Street, showing you the fabulous range of Christmas gifts you can buy right here in Saltash.
