Bude Christmas Market
Date: 14
to 15 Dec
/ Time: 11am - 4pm
A two day Christmas Market event showcasing the work of local artists, crafters and artisans from the Beach Huts at Crooklets Beach, Bude.
Up to 19 Beach Huts brimming with locally made gifts – perfect for Christmas shopping in Bude.
This event will be the first of its kind to be held at this fabulous location overlooking Crooklets Beach (and maybe even in Cornwall), and it is hoped it will lead to regular market events throughout the year outside of the school holidays.
Want to be involved? A couple of huts are still available to local people who want to have a stall at this new Bude Christmas Market – have a look at the info here and get in touch if you are interested.
You’ll have the hut from 12th to 16th December – giving you plenty of time to set up etc. The hut will be empty, allowing you to decorate and fill with your sale items, with room outside the hut too.

Boscastle Walking Festival Every March/AprilEach year, in late March or early April, Boscastle hosts a festival of walking events in and around the village.
From the very best of Britain’s coastline to wonderful walks amid woods and streams, it’s all on offer during Boscastle’s increasingly popular Walking Week.
This year sees an extended range of walks and activities for you to pick and mix from. Something for all ages and abilities.
Join one of our experienced and informed local guides on a ramble to waterfalls or steep climbs to Cornwall’s highest coastal cliff top, or meander along the country lanes and pathways that would have been familiar to the writer Thomas Hardy, whose life-changing visit to Boscastle produced poetry regarded by many as amongst the finest in the English language.
As well as walking, a range of events including Cream Teas and special ‘Meal deals’ will be available. The Festival Dinner has limited places available on a first come first served basis.
Booking for all walks is essential.

For full information and a booking form visit Boscastle Walking Week St Endellion Easter Music Festival Every Easter Bude and Stratton Folk Festival Usually begins in May every yearBude & Stratton Folk Festival is a small, friendly and very welcoming folk festival in the picturesque seaside town of Bude and nearby Stratton in North Cornwall.
An entirely acoustic festival (apart from the ceilidhs), the festival offers a broad mix of singers, dancers and musicians.
The festival is fast gaining a reputation on the folk circuit as a great little festival that offers a good mix - Local folk entertainers ensure that the people coming into the town for the festival see some of what Cornwall has to offer and entertainment from further afield gives the locals a taste of what's going on outside Cornwall.
The emphasis is always on enjoyment and participation - to this end a good range of sessions are offered, dances and dancers and sing-arounds..... it's a bit like a fringe festival..... with concerts, workshops and a Music Hall.
Being a seaside town, there is always the big shanty sing included in the programme.
