Bessy's Cove is one of the coves at Prussia Cove. A sandy beach with rocks and pools to explore and a fascinating history with a long association with smugglers, particularly John Carter, the 'King of Prussia'.

The colour of summer. Hottentot Fig (Carpobrotus edulis) carpets the cliffs at Bessy's Cove, (Prussia Cove) with its succulent leaves and colourful flowers.

This view is from the Cornwall Coast Path between Praa Sands and Prussia Cove. Kenneggy Sands can be seen with Prussia Cove in the distance. |
One of the three stunning coves at Prussia Cove. Piskies Beach is the most difficult to access but just the view of the cove from the coast path above is reward enough for the walk from the car park.
