The Kenidjack Valley is filled with excellent examples of Cornish Mining Heritage including engine house where huge water wheels once turned. A wonderful place to enjoy wildlife with many birds, butterflies, damsel flies, dragonflies, wild flowers and snakes. And if you walk the length of the valley to the sea then you're rewarded by the beautiful Porthledden Beach and stunning views of Cape Cornwall. You can take the coast path towards Cape Cornwall or towards Botallack and Levant where Poldark is filmed. You can also enjoy the area as a circular walk or on the Poldark Trail.
