Community choirs have become very popular during the last few years.
People join for many reasons: you may already sing and want to be part of a choir; you enjoy meeting up with like minded people every week; you want to make a New Year’s resolution to do something you’ve never done before; you think you can’t sing and you want to learn how to.
Whatever your individual situation and your reason, becoming part of a local choir is a fun thing to do. You learn by ear so there’s no need to be able to read music and there are no auditions. You won’t be expected to sing on your own. There’s no solos so nothing to feel anxious about.
The Tone Deaf Ensemble, based in Penzance, sings an eclectic range of songs, all with original arrangements, by the likes of Adele, Radiohead, Sault, Mama’s Broke, Lyle Lovett, Fleetwood Mac, Fleet Foxes, Mumford and Sons, Eels, The Rolling Stones, Emili Sande, Leonard Cohen, Neil Young, The Doobie Brothers and many more. New songs are introduced throughout the year.
January starts with new songs so it’s a great time to join the group.
Wednesdays between 6.30pm and 8pm beginning on the 8th January
Please note singing is cancelled until further notice as a precautionary measure during the current health crisis.
New members welcome at any time.
First session is free then £6 per week.
You don’t have to attend every week.

Directions and parking
If you're arriving from the A30.
At the Mount Misery roundabout turn left onto Alverton Rd, continue then turn left onto King's Road, turn first left onto Clement's Road and first right onto Polwithen Rd.
Polwithen House is at the top of the road on the left. There is parking. Please park on the left hand side of the car park.
