Overlooking beautiful Crantock Beach (owned by the National Trust) and the headland of East Pentire, the Bowgie Inn has stunning sea views over Crantock Bay. Large comfortable interior with a variety of dining areas.

While dogs are not allowed inside, there’s plenty of outdoor seating, including a glass screened deck and covered tables, all with fantastic views. The friendly staff will provide you with water for your pet on request.

The Bowgie is open daily from 11am.

Food is served every day 11am - 3pm and 5pm - 9pm Mon to Fri and 11am - 9pm Sat & Sun.

There are many lovely walks around this area and lots of beaches to enjoy, most of which are dog friendly. The nearby Holywell Beach has featured prominently in the filming of Poldark. West Pentire and Porth Joke Circular Walk

Pandora Inn, Restronguet between Truro and Falmouth

Located on Restronguet Creek, on the lower reaches of the River Fal, The Pandora Inn, is a step back in time, retaining 13th features such as its flagstone floors and low-beamed ceilings together with a thatched roof.

A cosy interior with open fires during the winter months. Outside there is seating on the quayside and on the pontoon with lovely views of the creek. Dog friendly inside and on the quay and pontoon.

The Pandora Inn is open daily from 10.30am

Tucked away on the Droskyn side of Perranporth Beach, The Seiners Arms enjoys wonderful views of the sands, stream, rock arches and Chapel Rock with its seawater pool and at high tide the pub is almost surrounded by water.

In the village of Botallack, a former mining village, The Queen’s Arms is a few minutes walk from some of the most spectacular Cornish Mining Heritage on the Cornish coast. West Wheal Owles and the Crowns engine houses have featured in all the recent series of Poldark.

In the small hamlet of Cripplesease, surrounded by rolling countryside and a fine example of Cornwall’s mining heritage, the Engine Inn dates from the 18th century when it was the count house (office) for nearby Giew Mine.
