Anne’s Wood is situated on the edge of the village of Lelant near the railway halt. It is owned by the Woodland Trust.
The wood gets its name from Anne Rostron. It was given by her family in memory of her.
It is a native woodland of mature Beech, Sycamore, Oak and Ash with Holly and young trees. The dense canopy produces much shade so the flora consists of ferns, ivy and other shade loving plants.
It stands on the site of a 19th Century clay works.
Anne's Wood allows public access through a gap in the boundary wall.
To enjoy the wood follow the circular route. The size is 1.63 acres/0.66 hectares
