The Bodmin Trail is the fourth stage of the Kernow Horse Trail starting on Goss Moor close to the Owl Sanctuary at Indian Queens.
The trail links into the Goss Moor Trail which uses part of old A30. From the eastern side of Goss Moor the trail runs along quiet lanes toward the north east. It passes to the south of the village of Withiel through Withielgoose and then joins a bridleway to join a quiet lane leading past Nanstallon and onto the Camel Trail.
The Bodmin Trail then goes in a westerly direction making use of the Camel Trail to skirt around Bodmin.
After passing Bodmin, the trail then goes east and crosses the A30 Bodmin Bypass using unclassified roads and bridleways through Cardinham Woods. The Bodmin Trail ends at Cardinham Castle.
