Bodmin Moor, in Cornish, Goon Brenn, spans the central high ground of Cornwall stretching from St Cleer and St Neot in the South East of Cornwall to Davidstow and beyond in the North.

Numerous moorland towns and villages including Altarnun, St Breward, Blisland, Bolventor, Cardinham, Minions, St Clether and Temple offer a unique view into this heartland of Cornwall.

Bodmin today gives its name to the moor which in former times was known as Fowey Moor because of the River Fowey rising here.
