Duloe Stone Circle dates from the Bronze Age, between 2000 BC and 1000 BC
The circle consists of eight quartz stones, one of which has fallen. Although it is the smallest stone circle discovered in Cornwall, its stones are larger than those of any of Cornwall's other stone circles.
The tallest stone is 2.7m (almost 9 feet).
The stones form an oval rather than a circle, with diameters of 10.2m (33.5 feet) and 11.7m (38 feet).
When a bisecting hedge was removed around 1860 an urn was discovered.
There is some question that the stones might have been a kerb for a barrow but this has not been substantiated.
Location:
SX 236583. There is no vehicular access on the track leading to the circle. You must park in the village and from there the circle is a short walk.
